Getting started

What is Breakflare?
Breakflare helps you build a crypto portfolio from research, not FOMO. Every day it tracks about 150 promising crypto projects (CoinGecko ranks 51-200) on rising social attention, whale flows, and market context, then ranks which ones look closest to climbing toward the top 50 with Breakout Score™ (BS™). Core research is an attention tracker and terminal. Optional Breakflare trading agent can place paper or live orders on your own connected exchange account (trade-only keys; live on Plus). It is not a signal group and Breakflare never holds your balances.
Does Breakflare offer free tools without an account?
Yes. Free tools on www.breakflare.com include a live band checker, watchlist triage, coin compare, rank climb, attention vs price, a delayed false-breakout screen, narrative heat, CSV export, and embeds. Live CoinGecko lookups run in your browser; sample tools use a delayed slice of the research board. Live Breakout Score™ rankings still need an app account.
Who is Breakflare for?
Active crypto traders and researchers who watch narrative shifts in CoinGecko ranks 51-200. It is for people who care how fast attention is rising, not fundamentals alone, and want a ranked shortlist instead of scanning every dashboard.
Does Breakflare work for day traders, swing traders, or position traders?
Yes. You choose a 1-day, 7-day, or 30-day window at onboarding (or anytime in the terminal). Each window uses its own Breakout Score™ scoring and locked track-record cohort. Day traders use the 1-day window; swing traders usually use 7 days; slower sizing or DCA often uses 30 days. Core research is rankings and context; optional Trading agent can place orders on your connected exchange.
Is Breakflare financial advice?
No. Breakflare is for informational purposes only. Rankings, scores, alerts, and catalyst notes describe attention and market context. They are not buy, sell, or hold recommendations. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Can I trade on Breakflare?
Core research (ranked candidates, whales, trackers, and alerts) does not place orders by itself. Optional Breakflare trading agent can: paper (simulated) mode is free on every plan, and live orders on your own connected exchange account (trade-only API keys, Binance spot first) are a Plus feature. Breakflare never holds your trading balances.
Do I need an account to use Breakflare?
Yes. Sign in at app.breakflare.com to use the Free tier (last week's Lite shortlist) or paid plans for live data. The marketing site explains the product; the terminal itself is auth-gated.

Plans and billing

Is Breakflare free?
Yes. Free is last week's Lite Breakout Score™ board at $0: 7-day delay, 3 days of pick history, and paper Trading agent. It does not include a live snapshot, whales, wallet trackers, or alerts. The paid plan is $29/mo or $290/yr (2 months free vs monthly). Monthly and yearly paid plans include a free 7-day trial. Compare plans on the pricing page.
What is the difference between Lite/Advanced and Free/Paid?
Free is a 7-day delayed Lite Breakout Score™ board only: last week's shortlist, no live snapshot, no whales, no trackers, no alerts. Paid unlocks the live Advanced terminal (denser table with estimates and signal columns), whales, trackers, alerts, Telegram, and longer history. On paid you can switch Lite/Advanced on the terminal page anytime; Whales, Trackers, and Alerts stay available either way.
What plans does Breakflare offer?
Three tiers: Free ($0, 7-day delayed Lite Breakout Score™ board; no live snapshot, whales, trackers, or alerts), Plus ($29/mo or $290/yr for the live daily terminal, whales, trackers, email + Telegram alerts, and 90 days of history), and Enterprise (custom). Yearly is 2 months free vs monthly. Compare plans on the pricing page.
Is there a Plus vs Pro ladder?
No. There is one paid plan called Plus ($29/mo or $290/yr). Existing Pro subscribers are grandfathered with the same shipped features. Lifetime is not offered for new sales.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Monthly and yearly paid plans include a free 7-day trial; you are not charged until the trial ends, and canceling during the trial prevents any charge. There is also a Free tier with last week's Lite Breakout Score™ board (7-day delay; no card, no live snapshot, whales, trackers, or alerts). See the pricing page and the Refund Policy for details.
What is the refund policy?
Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once charged. You can cancel subscriptions anytime to stop future renewals. See the full Refund Policy on this site for trial, EU/UK, and billing-error details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions can be canceled through your account billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Scoring and signals

What is Breakout Score™?
Breakout Score™ (BS™) is the main ranking for coins in the rank 51-200 band. It blends social attention, how fast that attention is changing, rank climb, market context, whales, news, and quality checks so you have a clearer research starting point for your next decision. Hype, Climb, and confidence stay visible as separate columns.
What is hype score?
Hype score measures how loud a coin is across social and market-attention signals on a given UTC day, ranked versus the other coins we track. A high hype score means attention is elevated today, not that price must rise.
What is momentum (3d vs 7d)?
Momentum tracks whether attention is rising or fading over 3-day and 7-day UTC windows. It is most useful after one to two weeks of daily runs. Early history can look noisy until enough days are in the database.
What is Climb score?
Climb is a transparent band composite inside Breakout Score™. It highlights rank 51-200 coins where chatter is rising and market-cap rank is improving toward the top 50. It pairs attention momentum with rank climb, not price targets. The headline sort is still Breakout Score™ (BS™).
What is confidence score?
Confidence reflects how much signal coverage a coin has, plus historical evidence when enough labeled history exists. It describes how well-supported a row is, not how bullish Breakflare is.
Does a high hype score mean the coin will pump?
No. It means attention is elevated versus peers today. Price can lag, lead, or diverge. Breakflare measures attention heat, not fair value or guaranteed upside.
Does Breakflare predict prices?
No. Breakflare measures attention and how fast it is changing, not future price targets or fair value. Breakout Score™ ranks candidates relative to peers. It is not a guarantee of top-50 entry or returns.
What do track-record hit rates measure?
Hit rates show how often locked daily shortlist picks broke out within the chosen window after that window ended. Each trader horizon (1-day, 7-day, 30-day) has its own locked cohort. Past graded outcomes are analytics only, not a promise of future returns.
What is the notional paper follow?
Soft research curves that equal-weight locked top 3 picks at a fixed 1:7 risk-reward: +56% take-profit or -8% stop on the ~7-day hold, and +84% / -12% on the ~30-day hold (matching product grading horizons). The ratio stays fixed so curves stay comparable over time. These curves are notional analytics only (not live Trading agent fills). Past notional results are not a promise of future returns.

Data and coverage

Which coins does Breakflare track?
Coins roughly in CoinGecko market-cap ranks 51-200, with a focus on those showing rising attention and improving rank. Large caps in the top 50 and tiny micro caps outside the band are outside the core lens. Stablecoins are excluded from breakout candidacy.
Why does Breakflare focus on rank 51-200?
That band is where narrative heat often shows up before a coin reaches the top 50. Top-50 names are already widely covered; micro caps are harder to compare fairly. The 51-200 band is Breakflare's breakout hunting ground.
How often does data update?
The scoring pipeline targets one fresh ranked snapshot per UTC day on Breakflare-hosted infrastructure. Run timestamps are shown in UTC and ICT on the dashboard. There is no separate intraday Pro refresh for new sales.
How long until momentum and confidence are useful?
Momentum, confidence, ML probability, and track-record grades strengthen after daily runs accumulate over one to two weeks. The first few days after sign-up are informative but thin on trend context.
What signals does Breakflare use?
Breakflare blends 40+ market, on-chain, DEX, social, news, technical, and whale sources into daily Breakout Score™ scores. Broad market context covers the top 200; deeper research signals focus on ranks 51-200 (community, search, news, DEX heat, holders, charts, and curated wallets). If one feed fails, weight redistributes across the rest.

Setup and API

Do I need my own API keys?
No. Breakflare runs a hosted daily pipeline on Breakflare infrastructure. You do not need vendor API keys to open the terminal. Optional tracker API keys for custom wallet monitoring are configured separately in the Trackers section.
Where do I configure tracker API keys?
After sign-in, open Trackers in the app to add optional upstream keys for custom wallet monitoring. Subscription plans and the Breakflare Data API are managed separately in Settings.
What is the Breakflare Data API?
A REST API for daily breakout-band attention scores, catalyst context, and market snapshot fields for coins ranked 51-200. We also offer file Datasets (Parquet/CSV) of the same proprietary history. Access is by request, not automatic at checkout. Submit a request from the API docs (select API, Datasets, or both). Commercial terms are sent privately after review.
Is dashboard data available publicly?
No. Dashboard JSON and ranked snapshots are auth-gated for signed-in subscribers. The marketing site and blog explain methodology; live scores require a plan.

Features

What is the Breakflare terminal?
The terminal is the daily Breakout Score™ research workspace for CoinGecko rank 51-200. Free gets last week's Lite shortlist; Plus unlocks the live Advanced table with denser signal columns, watchlists, and history. Learn more on the terminal page.
What is Whales intelligence?
Whales surfaces curated large-holder wallets and fund movements that add context next to Breakout Score™. Browse holdings, recent transfers, and conviction signals so your research is not attention-only. See the whales page.
What alerts can I set up?
Email or Telegram notifications when breakout candidates shift, Breakout Score™ or whale activity crosses your thresholds, or other configured signal changes. Alerts are informational, not trade execution. See the alerts page.
Can I track custom wallets?
Yes. Build named wallet lists for your own multi-wallet portfolio or addresses you follow. Track combined value snapshots, holdings breakdowns, per-address labels, and interpreted on-chain signals. See the trackers page.
What is Catalyst agent?
Dated catalyst intelligence on band candidates: listings, launches, unlocks, and similar events from news discovery, with optional AI enrichment when configured. It adds event context alongside scores, not trade instructions.
What is Breakflare trading agent?
Breakflare trading agent is the optional autopilot layer on top of the same daily research stack: it reads Breakout Score™ and your own risk rules, then places spot orders on your own exchange account within guardrails you set. Every account, Free or Plus, starts in free paper (simulated) mode; live trading is a Plus feature. See how it works on the trading agent page.
Can Breakflare trading agent trade for me today?
Yes, in paper mode, free on every plan including Free. Breakflare trading agent starts every account in simulated paper mode against your own rules. Live orders need Plus: connect your own trade-only Binance API keys and top up pay-as-you-go credits in the app to enable live fills. Live pauses automatically if credits reach $0. See the Binance trade-only key guide for setup.
Will Breakflare hold my funds for the trading agent?
No, by design. Breakflare trading agent is non-custodial: you connect trade-only exchange API keys (no withdrawal permission) on your own exchange account. Breakflare never holds your balances. Custody or yield products are a separate, licensed business line that does not exist yet and is not part of this feature.
How much does Breakflare trading agent cost?
Paper mode (simulated fills) is free on every plan, including Free, with no subscription required and never debits credits. Live trading is a Plus feature ($29/mo or $290/yr) and needs optional pay-as-you-go top-up credits (including optional auto-recharge), debited at 1% of each live fill's notional value (roughly 2% round trip on a buy and sell, plus normal exchange fees). If credits reach $0, live trading pauses automatically while paper mode keeps running. Agent credit top-ups and auto-recharges are non-refundable, including unused balances, except where required by law or for confirmed Breakflare billing errors. See the Refund Policy for the full Agent credit rules.
What guardrails does Breakflare trading agent have?
Breakflare trading agent includes a score floor, a max position size per trade, stop-loss and take-profit rules, a daily loss kill switch, and a default paper (simulated) mode before any live keys are enabled. Withdrawal-capable API keys are rejected automatically. None of this is a guarantee against loss: autopilot trading can lose money, and past or simulated results never promise future returns.
How do I create a trade-only Binance API key for Breakflare?
Create a new Binance API key with withdrawals disabled and spot trading enabled, then paste it in the app under Settings → Trading agent. Keys that allow withdrawals are rejected at connect time. Paper mode needs no keys. Live needs Plus, a trade-only key, and credits. Full steps: Binance trade-only API key guide.

Comparisons

How is Breakflare different from LunarCrush?
LunarCrush is strong for broad social analytics across the full market. Breakflare focuses on CoinGecko ranks 51-200 with a daily shortlist for attention, momentum, confidence, and rank climb toward the top 50. They complement rather than replace each other.
How is Breakflare different from Nansen or Glassnode?
On-chain tools focus on wallet labels, flows, and network metrics. Breakflare blends social attention, market context, rank climb, and optional whale context into a daily research shortlist. Many people use both.
How is Breakflare different from DexScreener?
DexScreener is strong for live DEX pair discovery and charting. Breakflare is a daily ranked watchlist for attention, momentum, and top-50 climb framing. Different cadence and question.

Limitations

What are Breakflare's main limitations?
It is not financial advice and does not predict prices. Core research does not place orders by itself; optional Trading agent can place paper or live orders on your connected exchange (live on Plus). Early history is thin until daily runs accumulate. Signal coverage can vary by coin and day. Breakout Score™ ranks relative peers; it is not a guarantee of top-50 entry.
What happens if a data source is unavailable?
Breakflare fails gracefully. If a feed is missing, down, or over budget, that signal is skipped and remaining sources still produce a score with redistributed weight. Runs do not hard-fail on one source.
Why do stablecoins show zero or low confidence?
Stablecoins are excluded from breakout candidacy by design. Social chatter on pegged assets does not map cleanly to top-50 climb dynamics, so they are filtered from the breakout lens.
